The Animal Services Advisory and Appeals Board of the City of Coppell, Texas, met in the Conference Room at 821 S. Coppell Road on August 13, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to consider the following items: Regular Session (Open to the Public) 1. Call To Order Animal Services Manager Charlene Lovato called the meeting to order at 5:53 p.m. Present: Dr. Reid Garfield and Jennifer Holmes Absent: Adam Metz 2. Citizens' Appearance No one signed up to speak. 3. Consider approval of the minutes: August 13, 2019. A motion was made by Dr. Reid Garfield, seconded by Jennifer Holmes, that the minutes from August 13, 2019, be approved. The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 4. Delay of Grapevine Animal Services agreement. An exact date has yet to be determined as to when Grapevine Animal Services will be relocated to the Coppell Animal Services shelter, only sometime in October, a date is tentative. Community Service is being done at the Coppell shelter through the Police Department's teen diversion program for up to 4 hours. Regular volunteers need to go through the process on the city website and be 18 years or older. 6. Discussion regarding shelter dog yard. The dog play yard has been on hold due to budget reasons. It will be resumbitted in the 2020-21 budget year. 7.
