Wednesday, October 7, 2015 6:00 PM 255 Parkway Blvd.
Notice is hereby given that the Economic Development Committee of the City of
Coppell, Texas, will meet in the 2nd Floor Conference Room at 255 E. Parkway
Boulevard.
As authorized by Section 551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code, this meeting may
be convened into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential
legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item listed herein.
The purpose of this meeting is to consider the following items:
Regular Session (Open to the Public)
1. Call To Order
Chairman Bill Rohloff called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m.
Present: Bill Rohloff, Chairman, Don Carroll, Vice Chairman, Maggie Lucas,
Kamruddin Shams, Aaron Straach, and David Heartquist.
Absent: Sue Bird, Monica Diamond, Jeff Varnell, Kim Kelley (alternate) and
Vincent Hsieh (alternate).
2. Approval of Minutes: September 2, 2015.
A motion was made by Maggie Lucas, seconded by Don Carroll, that the
Minutes of September 2, 2015, be approved. The motion was passed by
unanimous vote.
Aye: 6- Bill Rohloff, Chairman, Don Carroll, Vice Chairman, Maggie Lucas,
Kamruddin Shams, Aaron Straach, David Heartquist.
3. Special Election Presentation.
Maggie Lucas presented information regarding the Special Election on
November 3, 2015.
4. Follow up on Sub-Committee Assignments.
Economic Development Coordinator Mindi Hurley presented follow up
information to the presentations that were given at the last committee meeting.
5. Reports.

Mindi presented monthly reports to the committee.
6. General Discussion and update on commercial and industrial projects.
General discussion ensued.
7. Adjournment
There being no further business before the Economic Development
Committee, Chairman Bill Rohloff adjourned the meeting at 7:45 p.m.
