Parkway Boulevard. The purpose of this meeting was to consider the following items: Regular Session (Open to the Public) 1. Call To Order Vice Chair Paschal called the meeting to order at 6:32 pm. Members Present: 2. Citizens' Forum: Citizen's should complete a Citizen's Appearance Form. Pursuant to the State Open Meetings Law, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action on items not posted on the Agenda. Action on your statements can only be taken at future meetings. Vice Chair Paschal advised that no one signed up to speak. 3. Annual update by the Coppell Girls Softball Association. Tom Hargrove, President of the Coppell Girls Softball Association, gave an City of Coppell, Texas Page 1 Parks and Recreation Board Minutes June 3, 2019 update on registration numbers and activities. 4. Consider approval of minutes: May 6, 2019 A motion was made by Boardmember Rogers, seconded by Boardmember Reynolds, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried by an unanimous vote. 5. Consider approval of cancelling the July 1, 2019 meeting. A motion was made by Boardmember Reynolds, seconded by Boardmember Olsen, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried by an unanimous vote. 6. Manager's Update - Tiffany Anderson, Community Engagement Manager Tiffany Anderson, Community Engagement Manager, gave an update on current activities related to the Community Engagement Division 7. Presentation and discussion regarding the Outdoor Education Garden at the Biodiversity Education Center. Molly Bujanda, Comunity Programs Manager, updated the Board on the Outdoor Education Garden Project 8. Youth Advisor's Report Youth Advisor Priya Marella suggested raising awareness of the Coppell Community Garden to the middle and high school students. 9. Director's Report A. Special Events B. Projects Director Brad Reid informed the Board that the department applied for the NRPA Gold Medal Award. A. John Elias, Special Projects Manager, gave an update on the Moore Road/Riverchase Dr./Fairway Bike Lanes project. B. Nothing to report 10. Chair Report A. Future Agenda Items Nothing to report. A.
