Also present were Marcie Diamond, Assistant Director of Community Development/Planning; Mary Paron-Boswell, Senior Planner; Kami McGee, Planning Secretary. The Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Coppell, Texas, met in Work Session at 6:00 p.m., and in Regular Session at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2019, in the Council Chambers at 255 E. Parkway Boulevard. The purpose of this meeting was to consider the following items: 6:00 p.m. Work Session (Open to the Public) 1st Floor Conference Room 1. Discussion regarding agenda items. The Planning and Zoning Commission was briefed on each posted agenda item, no vote was taken on any item discussed. 6:30 p.m. Regular Session (Open to the Public) 2. Call To Order. Chairman Haas called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. City of Coppell, Texas Page 1 Planning & Zoning Commission Minutes February 21, 2019 3. Consider approval of the minutes for January 17, 2019. A motion was made by Commissioner Portman, seconded by Commissioner Walker to approve the minutes as written. The motion passed unanimously, (7-0). 4. Nomination and election of officers. A motion was made by Commissioner Robinson to nominate Commissioner Edmund Haas as Chair and Commissioner Glenn Portman as Vice Chair, seconded by Commissioner Guerra. The motion passed unanimously, (7-0). 5. PUBLIC HEARING: Prologis Park One Twenty One Addition, Lots 1R, & 2R, Block A, Replat being a replat of Lots 1 & 2, Block A, of the Prologis Park 121 Addition, containing 17.84 acres of land located at the northeast corner of Sandy Lake Road and Freeport Parkway, at the request of Prologis, being represented by Robert Gossett, Halff Associates, Inc. STAFF REP.: Mary Paron-Boswell Mary Paron-Boswell, Senior Planner, introduced the case with exhibits. Ms. Paron-Boswell stated that staff is recommending approval subject to the following condition: 1. Additional comments may be generated upon detail engineering review and building permit. Robert Gossett, 1201 Bowser, Richardson, Texas, Halff Associates, was present to address traffic concerns and questions from the commission. Chairman Haas opened the Public Hearing and advised that no one wished to speak. Chairman Haas closed the public hearing. A motion was made by Commissioner Portman, seconded by Commissioner Robinson, to approve the agenda item with conditions presented by staff. The motion passed unanimously, (7-0). Adjournment.
