C.-1. 17-5978 A Resolution recommending approval to the City Commission from the Historic Preservation Board to authorize the release of funds from the Historic Public Art Fund, in the amount of $27,750, to cover the conservator’s portion of the restoration costs of both fountains located at 515 University Drive (also known as 3443 Segovia Street), the Coral Gables Library, a local historic landmark; further authorizing an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Budget, to recognize as revenue the transfer from Historic Art Fund Balance and appropriate such funds to put toward the cost of the project. ( Ayes: 9, Nays: 0; Unanimously approved ) C.-2. 17-5976 A Request for Ratification of Dispute Resolution Agreement among Mundomed S .A., South High Cliff Corp., and the City of Coral Gables, regarding the property legally described as lot 3 of Avocado Land Co. according to the plat thereof recorded at Plat Book 2, Page 44, in the public records of Miami-Dade County, Florida, presently referred to as 20 acres South of Hammock Oaks (Pursuant to Section 3-1705(D) of the Zoning Code, this item may only be pulled from the Consent Agenda by a supermajority vote of four Commissioners). C.-3. 17-6009 A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Chief Procurement Officer to award the contract for the Bulk Liquid Chlorine, Tank Rental and Swimming Pool Chemicals to Hawkins, Inc., in an amount not to exceed the budgeted available funds, for a term of three (3) years with the option to renew for one (1) additional two (2) year period, pursuant to Invitation for Bids (IFB) 2017.02.LS-1 and Section 2-828 of the Procurement Code entitled “Contract Award”.(Budgeted at approximately $26,000 per fiscal year) . C.-4. 17-6010 A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Chief Procurement Officer to award the contract for the Background Investigation Services to Jurney & Associates, Inc ., in an amount not to exceed the budgeted available funds, for a term of three (3) years with the option to renew for one (1) additional two (2) year period, pursuant to Invitation for Bids (IFB) 2017.02.LS and Section 2-828 of the Procurement Code entitled “Contract Award”. DISCUSSION ITEMS This time is for informal discussion among the City Commissioners, the City Manager and the City Attorney ADJOURNMENT NOTE Any person who acts as a lobbyist pursuant to the City of Coral Gables Ordinance No . 2006-11, must register with the City Clerk, prior to engaging in lobbying activities before city staff, boards, committees and/or the City Commission. A copy of the Ordinance is available in the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall. Any person, or persons, wishing to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, will require a verbatim record of the proceeding upon which the appeal is based.
