Correa Board Member Sean McGrover Board Member Felix Pardo Construction Regulation Board Meeting Minutes August 9, 2021 The Construction Regulation Board Meeting will be holding a regular board meeting on Monday, August 9, 2021, commencing at 2:00pm. Pursuant to Resolution No. 2021-118, the City of Coral Gables has returned to traditional in-person meetings. Accordingly, any individual wishing to provide sworn testimony shall be present physically in the Commission Chambers. However, the Construction Regulation Board has established the ability for the public to provide comments (non-sworn and without evidentiary value) virtually. Accordingly, only individuals who wish to provide public comment in this format, may appear and provide those comments via Zoom. A motion was made by Board Member Pardo, seconded by Vice Chairperson Permuy, that this matter be approved. The motion passed by the following vote. The owner shall submit a letter from a structural Engineer within seven (7) days of the Board’s meeting attesting the structure is safe for occupancy. The owner shall submit a Recertification Report prepared by a licensed Architect or Engineer within sixty (60) days of the Board’s Order Recertifying the property. The owner shall pay a $250 daily fine if property is not recertified within the sixty (60) day deadline A motion was made by Vice Chairperson Permuy, seconded by Board Member Pardo, that this matter be approved.
