ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Vice Chairperson Permuy,Chairperson Bello,Board Member Olazabal and Board Member Selman CHANGES TO THE AGENDA APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES 23-6003 Construction Regulation Board Meeting of April 17, 2023. A motion was made by Vice Chair Permuy, seconded by Board Member Olazabal Yeas: 4- Vice Chairperson Permuy,Chairperson Bello,Board Member Olazabal and Board Member Selman PUBLIC HEARING 23-6004 600 Biltmore Way This Agenda Item was Deferred 23-6005 915 Palermo Ave Respondents were present. The Owner shall take the Required Action as follows: A. Submit a letter from a structural Engineer within fourteen (14) days of the Board’s meeting attesting the structure is safe for occupancy B. Submit a Recertification Report prepared by a licensed Architect or Engineer within sixty (60) days of the Board’s Order Recertifying the property. C. A $250 daily fine be imposed, if any of these deadlines are not met. A motion was made by Board Member Permuy, seconded by Board Member Olazabal, that this matter be approved. The motion passed by the following vote. Yeas: 4- Chairperson Bello,Board Member Olazabal,Vice Chairperson Permuy and Board Member Selman 23-6006 1721 Ponce De Leon Blvd Respondents were present. The Owner shall take the Required Action as follows: A. Submit a letter from a structural Engineer within ten (10) days of the Board’s meeting attesting the structure is safe for occupancy B. C. A $250 daily fine be imposed, if any of these deadlines are not met. A motion was made by Board Member Olazabal, seconded by Board Member Selman, that this matter be approved. The motion passed by the following vote. Yeas: 4- Board Member Olazabal,Vice Chairperson Permuy,Chairperson Bello and Board Member Selman 23-6007 152 Valencia Ave Respondents were present. The Owner shall take the Required Action as follows: A. Submit a Recertification Report prepared by a licensed Architect or Engineer within ninety (90) days of the Board’s Order Recertifying the property. B. A $250 daily fine be imposed if any of these deadlines are not met. A motion was made by Board Member Permuy, seconded by Board Member Olazabal, that this matter be approved. The motion passed by the following vote. Yeas: 4- Vice Chairperson Permuy,Chairperson Bello,Board Member Olazabal and Board Member Selman 23-6008 312 Viscaya Ave Respondents were present. The Owner shall take the Required Action as follows: A. Provide a letter from a licensed certified plumber or engineer confirming that there is a working bathroom in the single-family residence or vacate the Structure by July 15, 2023. B.Apply for the Permits to legalize or demolish the Structure within 30 days of the date of this notice C.Obtain the Permits within 60 days of the date of this notice; and D. Pass final inspection on the Permits within 90 days of the date that the City informs you that the Permits are ready to be picked up. (“Required Action”) If the occupants vacate the Structure; the Structure may not be re-occupied until the Owners have taken all the Required Actions. E. A $250 daily fine shall be imposed, if any of the foregoing deadlines are not met. A motion was made by Board Member Selman, seconded by Board Member Olazabal, that this matter be approved.
