City of Coralville Board of Adjustment Meeting January 15, 2018 Staff: Jim Kessler, Building and Zoning Official and Dee Marshek, Administrative Assistant Kessler and Members discuss a conflict with the Agenda and the property’s address and the site plan presented to the members showing 3284 Crosspark Road. The meeting continues with discussion on the drive-thru window at 3284 Crosspark Road. Item 1: Meeting called to order 6:02 PM Item 2: Member present: Wells, Boucher, Nicola, and Nesbett Absent: Knudson Item 3: Approval of November 20, 2017 Minutes. Nesbett: Motion to approve. Boucher: 2nd Motion Motion carried: 4-0 Item 4: Election of Co-Chair for 2018. Election delayed until all members are present. Item 5: Public Hearing request by KRE LLC, is for a Conditional Use Permit to allow for a Drive-thru window requested for a potential future tenant, as defined in the C-2 Zoning District 165.28 (4A) of the City’s Code Ordinances. This property is located at 746 Coral Ridge Avenue. Per Kessler request Chairperson changes the address location to 3284 Crosspark Road. Public Hearing Open: Public Hearing Close: Wells: Motion to approve the Conditional Use Permit at 3284 Crosspark Road. Nesbett: Motion 2nd. Kessler shares Staff has to approve all site plans. With a drive-thru request Staff looks for sufficient traffic flow, the stacking pattern and for fire vehicle access around the building.
