Staff: Jim Kessler, Building and Zoning Official and Dee Marshek, Administrative Assistant
1. Call meeting to order 6:00 p.m.
2. Roll Call: Wells, Nesbett, Nicola, and Knudson
Absent: Boucher
3. Approve March 19, 2018 Minutes.
Wells: Motion to approve the Minutes.
Nesbett: 2nd Motion.
Motion Carried: 4-0
4. Election of new Co-chair for 2019.
Nesbett volunteers to serve as Co-Chair for 2019.
Knudson: Motion to Approve.
Wells: 2nd Motion
Motion Carried: 4-0
5. Public Hearing request by Beaton Holding Company is for the approval of Conditional
Use Permit to allow for a drive thru window at 3282 Crosspark Rd.
Public Hearing Open:
Jason Santee with Hall & Hall Engineering Inc. is available to answer any questions.
Kessler states this is the new Burger King located in one of the two buildings south of
Dunn Brothers Coffee. Kessler shows and explains the two access points that can be
used for the drive thru window at the west side of the building.
Members and Kessler discuss the parking lot, stacking and fire lanes at this site.
Public Hearing Closed:
a) Consider approval of the Conditional Use Permit.
Knudson: Motion to Approve.
Wells: 2nd Motion.
Motion Carried: 4- 0
6. Public Hearing request by ASA Global is for the approval of Conditional
Use Permit to allow for a drive thru window at 746 Coral Ridge Ave.
Public Hearing Open:
Mark Seabold with Shive-Hattery Inc. represents Hamburg Inn which is the new tenant at
this location. Seabold briefly describes the restaurant and the drive thru request.
Kessler states this is one development with three buildings which has one shared access off
of Coral Ridge Avenue. The shared parking lot, drive lanes, and the drive thru stack parking
were discussed. Kessler adds because of the limited access points onto Coral Ridge Avenue,
this is a complex site. Staff looked at this extensively when the site was designed and has
taken this all into consideration.

a) Consider approval of the Conditional Use Permit.
