April - 556 • Co-hosted Iowa Mountain Iowa River Corridor Trail Bike Festival with Iowa Weekly Average May 2 – July 25 2,607 Bicycle Coalition, featuring (highest week 3,345) skills classes, rides, and ride support displays. Over 300 Clear Creek Trail east of Tom Harkin Trailhead people attended. Footliters Traveling Playhouse, reached eight communities in 14 program-weeks during Summer 2022, including Eldora, Cedar Rapids, Toledo, Wellman, and more. In summer 2023, the program expands to three camp teams and 23 program- weeks. In Fall of 2022 we launched our first semester of school year programing for Young Footliters. Led by Katie Colletta and a team of local teaching artists, the program engages students in after- school programming throughout the week. Due to high demand, we more-than-doubled the program capacity in spring 2023 with additional camps and classes for up to 350 students.  Projects Recap for 2022 • 860 Quarry Road – removed three roll of dumpsters of left items and debris. Cleaned, shampooed carpeting, and painted spaces to use as CCPA Education Space. • Aquatic Center – rehabilitation of glazed block, replaced exterior shower walls, replaced lockers, cleaned and sealed concessions/lockerroom building split face block. • Archery Range Relocation – moved from Altmaier Family Park to Creekside Sports Park due to archery conflicts with disc golfers and able to provide ADA access at a reasonable cost. • Biscuit Creek Project at Central Park and Play Moguls– joint project with Engineering completed. Bridge and slide to be installed in 2023. • Brown Deer Deck Replacement • Brown Deer Driving Range Expansion – expanded to north in cooperation with construction of Brown Deer Coop • Brown Deer Interior Renovations – lower level kitchen, upper level office turned into additional event support space  Projects continued • CCPA – dehumidification repaired. • City Hall Painting Project – 15 offices, restrooms, entry between Police and City Hall. • Clear Creek Amana School Partnership – agreement completed. Ongoing planning with CCA staff. • Clear Creek Point Park – master planning to further evolve space for Destination Iowa grant program. • Clear Creek Stream Mitigation Bank – ongoing. Prospectus completed, draft banking instrument completed. 90% drawings completed. • Colony Fen Erosion Repair Project - joint project with Stormwater. • Coral Court – 36 streetscape ash trees removed. Replant in the spring. • Creekside Connection Singletrack – completed. • CYSP Soccer Field #3 Lighting - completed • Dovetail Recreation Area – open house held, east bank scrub tree removal completed, trees planted along east side. Kayak/canoe walk in launch established. Projects continued • Indoor Pool – Desert Aire system repair. • Indoor Pool Painting – completed. • Morrison Creek Drainage Way Crossing – planning and easements completed. Under design with Final monument stones Shoemaker and Haaland. arrived at Country • North Ridge Park Extension – Pollinator project – year Landscapes one of mowing, beginning removal of dead trees and ash trees. Rough draft of plan established. Tree at Dovetail engulfed in • Rec Center – HVAC Unit for Main Gym repaired. Oriental Bittersweet • Training modules – basic department training moved to online format with NeoGov • Veterans Memorial – continuing to coordinate construction work for committee. Near end of fundraising with just $30,000 to go.
