Authorize Payment of Invoice #22746 in the amount of $4,216.20 to R.E.Y. Engineers for the West Street School ATP Connectivity Project for Engineering and Environmental Services. 12. Adopt Resolution No. 03-08-2022-01, a Resolution accepting a portion of the California Citizen’s Options for Public Safety (COPS) Grant Coverage in the amount of $69,480.87 for the purchase of CCTV Security Camera System equipment. 13. Adopt Resolution No. 03-08-2022-03 reauthorizing Resolution 01-25-2022-01 pursuant to AB-361 and allowing the City of Corning City Council to continue to hold meetings remotely without compliance with the provisions of Government Code Section 54953(B)(3). Councilor Valerio moved to approve Consent Items 2-13; Councilor Burnett seconded the motion. Ayes: Snow, Demo, Burnett, Valerio, and Hargens. Absent/Abstain/Opposed: None. Motion was approved by a 5-0 vote of the Council., H. ITEMS REMOVED FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA: None. I. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND MEETINGS: 14. Ordinance No. 697, an Ordinance of the City of Corning adding Chapter 15.35, Vehicle Charging Stations to the Corning Municipal Code. (Introduction & First Reading) Presented by Planner 1 Christina Meeds. She stated that the proposed Ordinance is prompted by the State and allows the City to remain in compliance with the States new law. She informed the Council that they each have been provided tonight with a copy of the proposed associated Checklist not included in the Agenda Packet. THE CITY OF CORNING IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY PROVIDER AND EMPLOYER  Item No.: G-3b Councilor Burnett moved to introduce for first reading, Ordinance No. 697, an Ordinance of the City of Corning adding chapter 15.35, Vehicle Charging Stations and the associated required Checklist to the Corning Municipal Code and authorize Staff to make changes as required by State Law from time to time, approve the associated Summary Ordinance for publication purposes, and direct the City Clerk to read the Ordinance by Title. Councilor Demo seconded the motion. Ayes: Snow, Demo, Burnett, Valerio, and Hargens. Absent/Abstain/Opposed: None. Motion was approved by a 5-0 vote of the Council. J. REGULAR AGENDA: None . K. Demo: Reported that he missed the Tehama County Transportation Commission Meeting. Burnett: Reported that there will be a Senior Center Board Meeting tomorrow at 10 a.m. and reported that the Tehama County Sanitary Landfill Agency Meeting was cancelled. Hargens: Reported that she had no meetings. Valerio: Reported that an Easter Egg Hunt is being scheduled for April 16th, he will report the location and time at a future meeting.
