Healthy Families Tehama is a home visiting program offered to families throughout Tehama County with children aged 0-3 years. Our goal is to increase positive parent-child interactions and reduce risk factors for all those enrolled. Healthy Families Tehama is funded by grants through the California Home Visiting Program and CalWORKs Home Visiting Program. Last April, Healthy Families Tehama requested use of the gazebo for a Spring Parent Group. Approximately 30 families and 40 children came to the event. This year, Healthy Families Tehama would like to use the park again for our Spring Parent Group as so many families had positive things to share about the cleanliness and layout of the park. Many families took walks around the park and used the equipment available. We also provided extra large beach balls for the children to play with on the grass and they loved it! If you could please consider our request for a fee waiver, we would greatly appreciate.
