FINAL City of Corona Library Board of Trustees' Minutes Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 5:30 p.m. Council Chambers 400 S. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Trustee, Shirley Towler-Hayes. 2. CALL TO ORDER Chair, Jami Merchant, called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. 3. MEETING MINUTES 3.1 Minutes - September 24, 2024 - Draft The minutes of the regular board meeting held on September 24, 2024, were approved. CONSENT CALENDAR 4.1 Board Graph, Stats, Calendar, and Flyers The Consent Calendar was accepted. COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC None. 6. YOUTH UPDATE None. 7. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS 7.1 Strategic Plan for the Corona Public Library Library Manager, Daniell Whittington, introduced Debbie Joy from Library IQ and the Strategic Plan for the Corona Public Library. Debbie Joy presented the Strategic Plan. The Trustees provided comments and had inquiries. Donna Finch, Community Services Director, Daniell Whittington, Library Manager, and Debbie Joy, Library IQ provided clarification. 7.2 Library Report October 2024 Director, Donna Finch, introduced Library Manager, Daniell Whittington, and the report to be presented. Daniell presented the Library report for September 2024. The Trustees provided comments. 8. TRUSTEE COMMUNICATIONS Trustee, Shirley Towler-Hayes, thanked the City of Corona for allowing the Trustees to attend the California Library Association (CLA) conference and everything that they learned. Trustee, Ruth Heineman, seconded Shirley Towler-Hayes, and how much she enjoyed CLA as well, and thanked the City of Corona.
