FINAL City of Corona Library Board of Trustees' Minutes Tuesday, January 27, 2026, 5:30 p.m. Council Chambers 400 S. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Trustee, Shirley Towler-Hayes. 2. CALL TO ORDER Vice Chair, Ruth Heineman, called the meeting to order at 5:44PM. 3. MEETING MINUTES 3.1 Minutes - November 18, 2025 - Draft The minutes of the regular board meeting held on November 18, 2025, were approved. CONSENT CALENDAR 4.1 Board Graph, Stats, Calendar, and Flyers The Consent Calendar items were accepted. COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC None. 6. YOUTH UPDATE There were no members of the Mayor's Youth Council present at the meeting. 7. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS 7.1 Library Report - January 2026 Director, Donna Finch, introduced Library Manager, Daniell Whittington, and the report to be presented. Daniell presented the Library Report for January 2026. The Trustees provided comments. 7.2 Collections Report Library Supervisor, Chris-Tina Smith, presented the Library Collections Report for the Library Services division of the Library. The Trustees provided comments and questions. 8. TRUSTEE COMMUNICATIONS Trustee, Kennerly, said that she is looking forward to getting into a lot of these platforms that were shared, and coming to check out the library more frequently. Trustee, Towler-Hayes, thanked everyone for their presentations and asked about looking at the New York Times through the Library. Chris-Smith explained how to do this through the Library website. Vice Chair, Heineman, thanked the Library employees for all they do and all that is going on at the Library. You are starting 2026 off really well. 9. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 6:23PM.
