City Council Meetings

CORTEZ CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY, MAY 15, 2018 1. The Special Meeting began at 5:45 p.m., with dinner served in the breakroom. Councilmembers present were Mayor Pro-tem Orly Lucero, Sue Betts, Jill Carlson, Ty Keel, Mike Lavey, Orly Lucero, and Gary Noyes. Mayor Sheek phoned in for the Executive Session. Staff members present were City Clerk Linda Smith, Human Resources Assistant Debbie Speer, Director of Human Resources Matt Cashner, and City Manager Shane Hale. 2. Council adjourned at 6:00 p.m., to the Centennial State Room for discussion of a personnel matter to determine finalists for Cortez City Manager position under C.R.S. Section 24-6- 402(2)(f) and not involving; any specific employees who have requested discussion of the matter in open session; any member of this body or any elected official; the appointment of any person to fill an office of this body or of an elected official; or personnel policies that do not require the discussion of matters personal to particular employees. The Executive Session was adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
