City of Cortland - Historic/Architectural Board Historic and/or Architectural Advisory Board City of Cortland April 9, 2019 A special meeting of the Historic and/or Architectural Review Board was held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at 25 Court St, Mayor’s Conference Room at 8:00 am. Present: Commissioners Richard Stock, Dan Dineen, and Karina Murphy, and Chris Barnes Excused: Chairman Linda Kline, Commissioner Pam Abbott. Staff Present: Confidential Secretary Devon Rainbow, ZEO Bob Rhea There was a motion to switch the order of the agenda items. Motion by: Comm. Murphy Seconded by: Comm. Barnes Approved: Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Item #2 – 73 Main St. (McNeil) – Façade Changes Mr. McNeil was present for the meeting. He explained that they will paint the existing metal cornice to match the stone. The existing cast stone and brick will remain as is. They will remove existing 1994 wood windows and replace them with aluminum clad. New aluminum and glass door and sidelight for front entrance. The rear windows will be replaced with bronze aluminum clad. A motion was made to approve the application as presented. Motion by: Comm. Dineen Seconded by: Comm. Barnes Approved: Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Item #1 – 46 Main St. (Armstrong) – Signage The board had some questions regarding the layout and color, but no one was present on behalf of this agenda item.
