Department of Public Works Board Meeting Tuesday April 13, 2021 Via-Zoom Members Present: M. Doughty, K. VanGorder, B. Stark, P. O’Mara, Angela Gallatly Others Present: Superintendent- C. Bistocchi Deputy Superintendent- N. Dovi Meeting called to order at 6:37 PM by P. O’mara Approval of minutes from the DPW Board meeting from December 8, 2020 Motion to accept: First by: K. VanGorder Second by: M. Doughty All in favor: Unanimously Approved Old Business:  Discussion on the results of the recent traffic study completed by C&S Engineers for the Intersection of Valley View Drive @ the entrance/exit to the Cortland Jr/Sr High School.  Institute all way stop over summer as per recommendation of C&S. Motion to: Recommend First by: K. VanGorder Second by: M. Doughty All in favor: unanimous New Business: Traffic Control Devices:  Discussion on the possibility of changing the intersection of Alvena Avenue @ Homer Avenue to a 3 way Stop with LED signage after inquiry from a representative from Guthrie Medical Center.  Recommendation by board to first Request the DOT to have study done at intersection.
