Graham, III Council Member Pamala Harris Council Member Scot Shanks Council Member Danny Wyatt City Manager Greg Wood City Clerk Sally Oglesby Call for Special Meeting Minutes March 7, 2017 The City Council for the City of Crossville, Tennessee met in special session on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at City Hall. Call to Order Mayor James Mayberry was present and presiding. He called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Roll Call Present 4 - Council Member Pamala Harris, Council Member Danny Wyatt, Mayor Pro-tem J. H. Graham, and Mayor James Mayberry Absent 1 - Council Member Scot Shanks Others present were City Manager Greg Wood, City Attorney Will Ridley, City Clerk Sally Oglesby, Lee Lawson, Heather Mullinix, Andy Vaughn, Kevin Music, Doris Charnetzky, Mark Rosser, David Beaty, Leslee Phillips, Curtis Phillips, Tammie French, Harold Stryker, Darrin Stryker, Fred Houston, Billy Martin, Valorie Cox, Ted Meadows, Bruce Wyatt, Ronny Hill, Jim Young, Tim Begley, Levonn Hubbard, J.D. Barnes, Mary Ann Barnes, James Wattenbarger, Clyde Bowman, Jr., James Wilson, Sarah Bates, Travis Threet, Douglas Cox, and Rolf Weeks. 1. Concession Services Requests for Proposals were received to provide concession services at Centennial Park, Duer Soccer Complex, and Garrison Park. A committee was appointed by the Interim City Manager to review the proposals and make a recommendation to the Council at the meeting. There is some urgency as a tournament is scheduled for the weekend of March 17-19. Submitting proposals were: Nick’s Italian Ice and W6 Concessions. A recommendation was made to award a contract to Nick's Italian Ice. It was requested that the Council be provided with copies of RFP's that are issued. Mayor Pro-Tem J.H. Graham, seconded, by Mayor James Mayberry, called for the question. A motion was made by Mayor Pro-tem J. H. Graham, seconded by Council Member Pamala Harris, that a contract be awarded to Nick's Italian Ice for concession services at city parks. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Council Member Pamala Harris, Council Member Danny Wyatt, Mayor Pro-tem J. H.
