City Code Amendment to Increase the Number of Class 12 Liquor Licenses – Applicant: The Ellery Group LLC, d/b/a The Ellery, 406 W. Woodstock Street 15. Parking Special Permit for 1294 Lake Avenue City Council Agenda August 5, 2025 Page 2 16. 290 West Crystal Lake Avenue, Salvation Army – Variations related to the removal and replacement of a parking lot, including: 1) A variation to allow the parking lot to have a 0-foot street yard setback, instead of the required 20 feet; 2) A variation to allow the reduction in the number of parking lot landscape islands from 21 to 10; 3) A variation to allow a reduction in the minimum size of parking landscape islands from 152 square feet to approximately 135 square feet for five landscape islands; 4) A variation to allow a reduction to the landscaping requirements for parking lot landscape islands, from 18 trees and 90 shrubs on 18 landscape islands to two trees and 33 shrubs on 10 landscape islands; and 5) A variation to allow a reduction to the perimeter landscaping requirements, from nine trees and 65 shrubs to zero trees and zero shrubs 17. Purchase of a new Bucket Truck Using Sourcewell Purchasing Cooperative Contract #110421-ALT and Designation of the 2012 International 4300 Bucket Truck as Surplus, and Authorization of Auction Sale 18.
