Public Transportation Board Minutes Page 1 March 26, 2026 Page 3 of 6 Report of Town Staff Commerce Street Bus Stop: Ms. Puryear informed the Board that this is still being worked on. Intergovernmental Reports Ms. Clements inquired if the hub stop has been changed to Heritage Park. Ms. Carpenter informed the Board that the Commerce Street stop is still being used as the hub and has not yet switched over to Heritage Park. Petitions and Communications None. New Business Ridership Report: Mr. Bagley informed the Board that ridership increased in the last month, in part due to increased ridership on the County 3 (Stevensburg) route and On Demand service. Mr. Bagley discussed previous and upcoming events that VRT will be participating in as well as the completed On Demand flyer. Ms. Clements inquired if the Touch-A-Trolly will be at Yowell Meadow Park or Yowell Elementary School. Mr. Bagley will confirm the location. Other Business None. Public Comment None. An overall decrease for April ridership compared to the same month/previous year approximately 4.69 from April 2025. • Recent Events: o Road Safety Analysis with Town of Orange on 12 Mar and 25 March completed. o Lone Pine Day (Ft Royal) on April 26 o King Charles III and Queen of United Kingdom Parade (Ft Royal) 30 April o Family Fun Day (Ft Royal)/Touch a Trolley on May 9. o Attended the Virginia Transit Association annual conference 19-20 May in Fredericksburg • Upcoming Events: o Quarterly Safety Training is scheduled for 6 Jun 26. o CulpeperFest 2026 is scheduled for 12 Jun 26. o Touch a Trolley is scheduled for 26 Jun 26, Yowell o Warrenton Town Limits Festival is 26 Jun 26 • On-Demand flyers have been produced and distributed. • We continue to evaluate routes and are making suggestions for adjustments. • VRT replacement of Culpeper Trolley 262 and Ft Royal Trolley 323. We anticipate the build date to be June 2026.
