CITY OF DACONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 Members present: Kevin Plain, Chairperson Shelly Kettering Don Clark Stan Owens Andrew Martinez Members absent: Derek Breier, excused Joseph Westbrook, excused Staff present: Jennifer Krieger, Community Development Director Mark Doering, Community Development Senior Planner Donna Case, Community Development Technician Kathleen Kelly, City Attorney Member Owens moved to approve the minutes of the September 13th, 2022 Planning Commission Meeting . The vote was unanimous and Chairperson Plain declared the motion carried. GENERAL BUSINESS Public Hearing and consideration of PC Resolution 22-07, a resolution recommending approval of a site plan for Cutting Edge Steel. Chairperson Plain opened the Public Hearing. Jim Weaver, CEO of Cutting Edge Steel, 101 Miller Drive, Dacono, CO, 80514, was sworn in by Secretary, Donna Case and was available for questions. Mark Doering, Community Development Senior Planner, presented his report and asked that the following be entered into public record: Application for Site Plan, Site Plan narrative, Site Plan dated 8.19.2022, Dacono Municipal Code and Zoning Map, Staff report, dated September 27, 2022. Member Kettering asked about venting. Mr. Weaver stated that the paint booth had it’s own self contained filtering system. Chairperson Plain closed the public hearing. Member Clark made a made a motion to approve PC Resolution 22-07, a resolution recommending approval of a site plan for Cutting Edge Steel. The vote was unanimous and Chairperson Plain declared the motion carried. Commissioner Reports: None. Staff Reports: Jennifer Krieger stated we will have a meeting on Tuesday October 11.
