Economic Development Authority of Dacono Meeting Minutes Monday, June 8, 2020 Meeting held remotely via Zoom called to order at 6:03 pm Members Present Danny Long Debbie Nasta, Chairperson Jackie Thomas Robin Dunlap Kathryn Wittman Derrick Worden Joe Baker Members Absent Barb Kirkmeyer, excused Chico Garcia Staff Present AJ Euckert, City Manager Valerie Taylor, Clerk Jennifer Krieger, Secretary/Executive Director Carolynne White, Special Counsel Approval of the March 9, 2020 Economic Development Authority of Dacono Meeting Minutes. Authority Member Baker moved to approve the March 9, 2020 Economic Development Authority of Dacono meeting minutes. The vote was unanimous with Chairperson Nasta declaring the motion carried. General Business Consideration and approval of Resolution EDAD 20-03, approving Bylaws. Carolynne White, Special Counsel presented her report. She stated from this point forward the name will be Urban Renewal Authority of Dacono, URAD. The Department of Local of Affairs will be notified of the name change. Weld County and the all parties to the IGA will also be notified. Authority Member Wittman moved to approve Resolution EDAD 20-03, approving Bylaws. The vote was unanimous with Chairperson Nasta declaring the motion carried. Acknowledging Receipt of the Financial Statements for Periods Ended April 30, 2020. Authority Member Thomas moved to Acknowledge Receipt of the Financial Statements for Periods Ended April 30, 2020. The vote was unanimous with Chairperson Nasta declaring the motion carried. Discussion of a Purchasing Policy. Jennifer Krieger, Executive Director gave a brief presentation. No formal action was taken. Chairman Nasta asked about future meeting dates. Jennifer stated two new members will be appointed at tonight’s council meeting, we will then have a full board. The meeting dates will be determined based on the availability of the majority of the members.
