PUBLIC HEARING April 17, 2017 Honorable Mayor Mark D. Boughton Members of the City Council Call To Order: President Cavo called the Public Hearing to order at 7:00 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance: Joe Cavo led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Philip Curran, Mike Esposito, Warren Levy, Colleen Stanley, Gregg Seabury, Andrew Wetmore, Irving Fox, John Priola, Vinny DiGilio, Joseph Cavo, Thomas Saadi, Fred Visconti, Christopher Arconti, John Esposito, Duane Perkins, Paul Rotello, and Nancy Cammisa. COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Christina Chieffalo is attending to family business; Elmer Palma is working; Ben Chianese is at work; and Joseph Scozzafava is attending a family function. PRESENT: 17, ABSENT: 4 ALSO PRESENT: Les Pinter, Deputy Corporation Counsel; David St. Hilaire, Director of Finance Notice: President Cavo noted following the Public Hearing on items 1., 2., 3., 4., and 5., the Committee of the Whole will meet on items 2., 3., 4., and 5. following the Public Hearing Mr. Cavo read the legal notice for the City Council to hear public comment on: 1. An Ordinance making appropriations for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018 and a resolution Levying the Property tax for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018 2. An ordinance appropriating 3,000,000 for public improvements in the 2017-2018 Capital budget and authorizing the issuance of 3,000,000 Bonds of the city to meet said appropriations and pending the Issuance thereof the making of temporary borrowings for such purpose 3. Governmental Entities, Code of Ordinance Section 2-176 4. Charles Ives Authority, Change of Ordinance, Section 13A-56 5. 2017 Neighborhood Assistance Act 1. An Ordinance making appropriations for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018  and a resolution Levying the Property tax for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018 There were no public comments. 2. Close Public Hearing A motion was made by Paul Rotello, seconded by Nancy Cammisa, to close the Public Hearing. The motion carried unanimously.
