PUBLIC HEARING April 15, 2019 Honorable Mayor Mark D. Boughton Members of the City Council Call To Order: Councilman Cavo called the Public Hearing to order at 7:00 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance: Mr. St. Hilaire led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Philip Curran, Bruce Bennett, Mike Esposito, Colleen Stanley, Warren Levy, Robert Taborsak, Andrew Wetmore, Irving Fox, John Priola, Vinny DiGilio, Joe Cavo, Fred Visconti, Elmer Palma, Chris Arconti, Duane Perkins, Paul Rotello, Farley Santos, Nancy Cammisa, and Joe Scozzafava. COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Councilmen John Esposito and Ben Chianese are at work, but may arrive later. PRESENT: 19, ABSENT: 2 Councilman Chianese arrived at 7:03 p.m. ALSO PRESENT: Robert J. Yamin, Corporation Counsel; Les Pinter, Deputy Corporation Counsel; David St. Hilaire, Director of Finance; and Jean Natale, Legislative Assistant. Notice: Mr. Cavo read the legal notice for the City Council to hear public comment on: 1. An Ordinance Making Appropriations for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020 and a Resolution Levying the Property Tax for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020 2. An Ordinance Appropriating $3,000,000 for Public Improvements in the 2019-2020 Capital Budget and Authorizing the Issuance of $3,000,000 Bonds of the City to Meet Said Appropriations and Pending the Issuance Thereof the Making of Temporary Borrowings for Such Purpose 3. An Ordinance setting Sewer Rates as of July 1, 2019 4. Transfer Unexpended Bond Proceeds 5.
