CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION Meeting MINUTES AUGUST 11, 2021 10:00 a.m. Via Videoconference Roll Call: The meeting was called to order by Chair Shay Nagarsheth and Commissioner Andrew Wetmore. Also present were Patrick Ridenhour, Police Chief; Stephen Hilderbrand, Police Officer; Virginia Werner, Director of Human Resources; Dianne Rosemark Assistant Corporation Counsel, Richard Thode, Fire Chief; Gabriel Rivera, Fire Union Representative, Nelly Espinal, HR Assistant Minutes: Review and accept previous meeting’s minutes Motion by Commissioner Wetmore, seconded by Chair Nagarsheth, to accept the previous meeting's minutes. Motion carried unanimously. Personnel Status: Seperations: Ms. Werner commented that the following individuals were separated from employment with the City of Danbury; Kelly Grover from the Fire department and Jason Sabio from Public Utilities. Susan Yager, retired from the Danbury Police Department and Slade Mongelli resigned from the Danbury Police Department. New Business: Request to Certify Eligibility Lists - Police Sergeant Motion by Commissioner Wetmore, seconded by Chair Nagarsheth, to certify the Police Sergeant Eligibility List. Motion carried unanimously. - Fire Captain Motion by Commissioner Wetmore, seconded by Chair Nagarsheth, to certify the Fire Captain Eligibility List. Motion carried unanimously.  - Fire Lieutenant Motion by Commissioner Wetmore, seconded by Chair Nagarsheth, to certify the Fire Lieutenant Eligibility List. Motion carried unanimously. Adjourn Motion by Commissioner Wetmore, seconded by Chair Nagarsheth, to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
