CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION Meeting MINUTES May 25, 2022 10:00 a.m. Via Videoconference Roll Call: The meeting was called to order by Chair Susan Ward and Commissioner Bruce Bennett. Also present was Daniel Stachowicz, Chief Examiner/HR Analyst; and Virginia Alosco-Werner, Director of Human Resources. Minutes: Review and accept previous meeting’s minutes Motion by Commissioner Bennett, seconded by Chair Ward, to accept the previous meeting's minutes. Motion carried unanimously. Personnel Status: Status Change: None New Hires: Mr. Stachowicz noted four new hires: Dragan Stojkovic, Certifed Police Officer – Danbury Police Department; Michael Mische, Truck Driver – Highway Department; Lesley Lema, Children’s Program Coordinator - Library; and Kim Tran Ng, LTA Civic Engagement - Library. Retirements: None Resignations: None New Business: Certification of Candidates: - Library Technical Assistant – Innovation and Sustainability Mr. Stachowicz noted the oral exam was conduct on May 16, 2022. He requested the Commission approve the two candidates on the presented list. Motion by Commissioner Bennett, seconded by Chair Ward, to certify the Librarian I (Innovation and Sustainability) Eligibility List. Motion carried unanimously. - Library Technical Assistant Project Coordinator  Mr. Stachowicz noted the presented list contains ten qualified candidates. Motion by Commissioner Bennett, seconded by Chair Ward, to certify the Library Technical Assistant Project Coordinator Eligibility List. Motion carried unanimously. - Sanitarian Mr. Stachowicz noted the oral exam was conduct on May 11, 2022. He requested the Commission approve the two candidates on the presented list. Motion by Commissioner Bennett, seconded by Chair Ward, to certify the Sanitarian Eligibility List. Motion carried unanimously.
