CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION Meeting MINUTES August 24, 2022 10:00 a.m. Via Videoconference Roll Call: The meeting was called to order by Chair Susan Ward and Commissioner Rick Rogers. Also present was Daniel Stachowicz, Chief Examiner/HR Analyst. Minutes: Review and accept previous meeting’s minutes Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to accept the previous meeting's minutes. Motion carried unanimously. Personnel Status: Status Change: Mr. Stachowicz noted one status change: Collen Gregory Public Utilities Technician – Public Utilities. Promotional: Mr. Stachowicz noted three Police Department promotions: Joseph Michael, Detective; David Antedomenico, Sergeant; and Robert Conrad, Lieutenant. New Hires: Mr. Stachowicz noted two new hires: Chelsea Levine, LTA Project Coordinator – Library; and Nicholas Hudimatch, Parts Attendant – Public Utilities. Retirements: Mr. Stachowicz noted two retirements: Matt Silk, Supt. of Apparatus – Fire Department; and Chris Spennato, Police Officer – Police Department. Resignations: Mr. Stachowicz noted one resignation: Manuel Martinez, Police Officer – Police Department. New Business: Qualification of Applicants: - Certified Police Officer Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to accept candidate ending in person id 3006. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to accept candidate ending in person id 8281. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to accept candidate ending in person id 3033. Motion carried unanimously. - Administrative Captain Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to accept all seven candidates for the Administrative Fire Captain position. Motion carried unanimously. - Account Clerk II/Payroll Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to accept the candidates for the Account Clerk II/Payroll position with person id's ending in 1232, 1471, 4642, 9394, 1784, 6907, and 1952. Motion carried unanimously. - Assistant City Engineer Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to accept the candidate for the Assistant City Engineer position with person id ending in 5384.
