CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION Meeting MINUTES September 21, 2022 10:00 a.m. Via Videoconference Roll Call: The meeting was called to order by Chair Susan Ward, Commissioner Rick Rogers, and Commissioner Bruce Bennett. Also present was Daniel Stachowicz, Chief Examiner/HR Analyst. Minutes: Review and accept previous meeting’s minutes for 8/30/22 and 9/7/22 Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Commissioner Bennett, to accept the September 7, 2022 meeting minutes. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Commissioner Bennett, to accept the August 30, 2022 meeting minutes. Motion carried unanimously. Personnel Status: Status Change: None Promotional: None New Hires: None Resignations: Mr. Stachowicz noted six resignations: Matt Silk- Fire LT; Manuel Martinez- Police Officer; Michelle McNamera- Municipal Agent; Scott Hiller- Pipe Installer; Steven Postupack- Pipe Installer; and Joseph Pooler- Police Officer. New Business: Qualification of Applications: - Certified Police Officer Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Commissioner Bennett, to accept the six candidates for the Certified Police Officer position. Motion carried unanimously. - Pipe Installer  Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Commissioner Bennett, to accept the candidates for the Pipe Installer position with person id's ending in 6466, 7434, 2231, 4559, 3864, 7599, 4110, 9236, and 3448. Motion carried unanimously. Certification of the Certified Police Officer Eligibility List Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to certify the Certified Police Officer Eligibility List through September 21, 2023. Motion carried unanimously. Removal of Names from the Truck Driver Eligibility List Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to remove candidates 3, 4, and 5; from the Truck Driver Eligibility List. Motion carried unanimously. Adjourn Motion by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
