CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES October 12, 2022 10:00 a.m. Via Zoom Video Conference Roll Call: The meeting was called to order by Chair Susan Ward, and Commissioner Rick Rogers. Also present was William Reiss, Auto Mechanic Operator II applicant, Nelly Espinal, HR Assistant, Christina S. Henry, HR Generalist and Virginia Alosco-Werner, Director of Human Resources. Minutes: - No Minutes available from previous meeting on October 5th, 2022. Personnel Status: None Status Change: None Promotional: None New Hires: None Retirements: None Resignations: None New Business: None Appeal – William Reiss, Auto Equipment Operator Applicant. Appeal read aloud by Chair Susan Ward and explained application was rejected due to a lack of mention of CDL on the employment application. Commissioner Ward suggested adding a section where the NeoGov Application would allow the applicants to enter their license number. Motion by Chair Ward, to accept Mr. Weiss application for Auto Equipment Operator II. Commissioner Rogers removed himself from carrying a motion due to knowing the applicant. Mr. Weiss was then removed from the call. Qualification of Applications: Engineer I: The Commission agreed to disqualify person id ending in 9926. Motion by Commissioner Rogers to accept Person Id ending in 6686. Chair Ward second the motion.  Staff Engineer: Motion by Commissioner Rogers to accept Person Ids ending in 6485 and 0451. Chair Ward second the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Certification of the Certified Police Officer Eligibility List: Motion by Commissioner Rogers, Chair Ward seconded to certify the Certified Police Officer Eligibility List promulgated on October 12th, 2022 and expiration on October 12th, 2023. Applicant: Minater Kryezio Removal of names on the Truck Driver List Section E – 3B: due to not being responsive: Postponed until next meeting scheduled for October 26th, 2022. Adjourn Motion by Chair Susan Ward, seconded by Commissioner Ward, to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
