CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION Meeting MINUTES February 8, 2023 3:00 P.M. Via Videoconference (ZOOM) Roll Call: The meeting was called to order by Chair Susan Ward. Also present were Commissioner Rick Rogers, Nelly Espinal, Chief Examiner, Christina Henry, HR Generalist, and Ginny Werner, Director of Human Resources, Minutes: Meeting February 1st, 2023 Motion made by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to accept the meeting minutes dated February 1st, 2023. Motion carried unanimously. Personnel Status: New Hires: James Main and Paul Fisher- Truck Driver- Highway Department Tamires DaSilva- Municipal Agent- Elderly Services Department New Business: Qualification of Applications: - Equipment Mechanic_ Motion made by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to accept the following applicants for the position of Equipment Mechanic: Candidates with applicant id’s as follows: 52527019, 52712415, 47921414, 44078534, 52735752, 52648859, 52579213, 52571067, and 52527453. The following applicants were rejected; 52613884 and 52727112. Motion carried unanimously. Qualification of Applications: - Technology Program Coordinator_ Motion made by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to accept the following applicants for the position of Technology Program Coordinator: 52785086, 52565711, 52628153, 36467908, and 52566784. Certification of the Certified Police Officer Eligibility List Motion made by Commissioner Rogers, seconded by Chair Ward, to certify the Certified Police Officer Eligibility list with an expiration date of February 8, 2024.
