CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES May 14, 2025 11:00 A.M. Via Videoconference (ZOOM) Roll Call: The meeting was called to order by Chair Susan Ward; also present were Commissioner Larry Phelan, and Chief Examiner Nelly Espinal. Minutes: Meeting April 30th, 2025 Motion made by Commissioner Phelan, seconded by Chair Ward to accept the meeting minutes from April 30th, 2025. Motion carried unanimously. Personnel Status: New Hires: Sean Storey- Water Treatment Plant Operator New Business: Qualifications of Applications: Entry Level Police Officer Motion made by Commissioner Phelan, seconded by Chair Ward to reject the following applicants as the applicants did not meet the minimum requirements of the position: 863551 and 858047 and to accept all other applicants as they meet the requirements of the position. Motion carried unanimously. Certification of Eligibility List: Entry Level Police Officer Motion made by Commissioner Phelan and seconded by Chair Ward to certify the Entry Level Police Officer eligibility list with an expiration date of May 14, 2026. Motion carried unanimously. Motion carried unanimously. Certification of Eligibility List: Auto Equipment Operator II Motion made by Commissioner Phelan and seconded by Chair Ward to certify the Auto Equipment Operator-II eligibility list with an expiration date of May 14, 2026.
