RICHTER PARK AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES
Richter Park Authority Office
Tuesday, January 17, 2023, 6:00 PM
In compliance with Connecticut General Statute § 1-225, these minutes are being provided for informational
purposes and are subject to approval of the Richter Park Authority Board of Directors at its next regular
meeting.
Chairman Pete Siecienski opened the meeting at 6:05 PM.
Members present: George Radachowsky, Leroy Diggs, Bob Eberhard, Judy
Griemsmann and Art Haddad (full member for Paul DiNardo).
Also present: Jonathan Pinto, Head Golf Professional, Rob Dorsch, Golf Course
Superintendent, Karen Madaus, Business Manager and Bobby Bria, Musicals at
Richter.
Absent: John Priola, Al Mead, Dave Lajoie, Pam St. Pierre and Paul DiNardo.
Public participation
None.
Approve minutes of previous meetings
Mr. Eberhard made a motion to approve the minutes from the December RPA
meeting. Mr. Diggs seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
Mr. Eberhard made a motion to approve the minutes from the 12/22/22 Grounds &
Greens Committee meeting. Mr. Radachowsky seconded. Too many members
abstained, so it was tabled for the February RPA meeting.
Mr. Eberhard made a motion to approve the minutes from the 12/7 Grounds &
Greens Committee meeting. Mr. Radachowsky seconded. Motion passed.
Correspondence
none.
Arts Association
Met on 1/10/23. During the meeting, Kai had stated that she’d like to book
artists/performers for spring at a lower rate. RPA said to move forward with booking
them.
There will be another meeting at the end of February/early March to discuss
what Arts will look like once Richter House renovation is done.
Musicals at Richter
They have resubmitted the grant. Also, trying to figure out the show schedule,
as the City is still working on architectural revisions to put together a priority list.
Currently, it’s 1) concessions, 2) interior and 3) exterior and driveway.
MPC-Richter House
Planning to meet February 1st at 6pm in the RPA office.
FORe
Discussions about the organization and structure of FORe, along with brick
sales and Danbury Amateur.
Business Manager’s Report
Resident ID sales and passes are going well. There has been a lot of interest
in Advance Tee Times, and some outing have started confirming dates.
Head Golf Professional
The Pro Shop renovation is in full swing and coming together quickly. The rock
wall construction is going well too. The PGA show in FL is next week. There is a
cloud-based point of sale coming this season.
Grounds and Greens
The reservoir level is at 92% without any snow. Tree work is moving ahead
and a lot of dead limbs will be removed. Multiple leases are coming in between now
and 2024; all are six months on and six months off for payments.
Financial report
Mr. Priola was not present. The winter goal is to have $250K in Operating.
Finance Committee Report
Our winter “kitty” will be mostly used on the rock wall and Pro Shop renovation.
Old business
The City will go out to re-bid the Richter House project without work on the
second floor and will include ADA compliance/modifications.
New business
Superintendent’s contract, tabled until February RPA meeting.

Mr. Eberhard made a motion to adjourn at 7:17 pm. Mr. Radachowsky seconded.
Motion passed unanimously.
