RICHTER PARK AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES
Richter Park Authority Office
Tuesday, January 21, 2025
In compliance with Connecticut General Statute § 1-225, these minutes are being provided for informational
purposes and are subject to approval of the Richter Park Authority Board of Directors at its next regular
meeting.
Chairman Pete Siecienski opened the meeting at 6:03 PM.
Members present: George Radachowsky, Leroy Diggs, Bob Eberhard, Jay Eriquez,
Judy Griemsmann, Art Haddad (Paul) and Pam St. Pierre (Dave)
Also present: Karen Madaus, Business Manager.
Absent: Al Mead, Paul DiNardo, Dave Lajoie, Jonathan Pinto and Rob Dorsch

Approve minutes of previous meetings
Mr. Diggs made a motion to approve the minutes of the December RPA
meeting. Ms. St. Pierre seconded. Motion passed unanimously. Mr. Diggs made a
motion to approve the minutes of the December Finance Committee meeting. Ms.
St. Pierre seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
Correspondence
none.
Arts Association
Several new members have joined the RAA. There was an RAA Board
meeting last week. Now that the Richter House renovations are finished,
they’d like to see it used for more community events. Responsibilities and
logistics would need to be discussed beforehand (alarm codes, keys,
cleaning, etc.).
Musicals at Richter
None.
MPC-Richter House
– Four signs are being discussed:
1) Sign in parking lot by tennis courts
2) Sign by Richter House by the street
3) Sign to direct people to the Arts or to the stage
4) Possible fourth sign near the Café patio.

Ms. Griemsmann spoke to Lloyd Cutsumpas and Ed Ward about Richter history. At
the end of February, Mr. Pinto will record conversations between all of them and the
RPA will come up with a way to acknowledge Lloyd and Ed.

None. Mr. DiNardo is working on signage.
Business Manager’s Report
Passes and Resident ID sales for the 2025 season have begun. Outing
contracts have started to go out.
Head Golf Professional/Director of Operations

Grounds and Greens
*At the PGA show.
Financial report
Operating is at $199K and Capital is at $108K, which is roughly $4K less than
last year.
Finance Committee Report
none
Old business
No cell tower update currently; Ray is waiting on carrier’s interest and we need
at least two.
New business
Superintendent’s departure: Mr. Dorsch resigned a couple of weeks ago.
Some resumes have come in. The Superintendent Search Committee will be:
Jonathan Pinto, George Radachowsky, Paul DiNardo, Art Haddad, Jay Eriquez and
Pete Siecienski. Final candidates should meet with the RPA and Club presidents.
We hope to have someone hired by early March.
Chairman’s Comments/Report
1) Robin Edwards is replacing Les Pinter at City Hall. The City is giving us
$150K LCIP money for HVAC replacement.
2) ARPA money has been received and appropriated.
Mr. Haddad made a motion to adjourn at 6:51pm. Mr. Eriquez seconded. Motion
passed unanimously.
