TARRYWILE PARK AUTHORITY REGULAR MEETING December 13, 2022 CALL TO ORDER: On December 13, 2022 at 6:11 p.m., the regular meeting of the Tarrywile Park Authority, was called to order by Chairman M. Marcus. ATTENDANCE: Board Members Present: M. Marcus, W. Platz, B. Talarico, D. Manacek, M. Repole & N. Wakeham Board Members Absent: E. Prybylski & J. Harner Park Staff: B. Petro Guests: Joe Gillotti Public Speaking: Joe Gillotti spoke on the mowing of the Mountainville Rd. fields AGENDA: 1. A. Chairman’s Report: M. Marcus said that any items will be covered under the agenda. B. Executive Director’s Report: B. Petro submitted a detailed Directors Report covering items the staff are currently working on. 2. Minutes: A motion was made by M. Repole to approve the minutes of the November 16, 2022 meeting. B. Talarico seconded. The motion passed unanimously. 3. Financial Items: A. Financial Reports – November 2022: Reports were not completed in time for the meeting. B. FY2023/2024 Draft Operating Budget: Chairman Marcus and B.Petro reviewed the draft budget that will be submitted to the City. Discussion followed. B. Petro will keep the Board updated when she hears back from the City. 4. Old Business: A. Fundraising: The administrative staff continue to work on the fundraising campaign. 5. New Business: N/A 6. Other Business: A. Dam Opening: The dams on Tarrywile Lake and Parks Pond were opened November 28th. Staff will consulte with D. Manacek the first week of January to determine if it is time to close it. ● Adjournment: A motion was made by W. Platz to adjourn the meeting at 6:59 p.m. Seconded by N. Wakeham.
