TARRYWILE PARK AUTHORITY REGULAR MEETING May 16, 2023 CALL TO ORDER: On May 16, 2023 at 6:10 p.m., the regular meeting of the Tarrywile Park Authority, was called to order by Chairman Michael Marcus ATTENDANCE: Board Members Present: M. Marcus, W. Platz, J. Harner, J. LaValla & N.Wakeham Board Members Absent: B. Talarico, D. Manacek, M. Repole & E. Prybylsk Park Staff: B. Petro Guests: Mr. Joe Gillotti Public Speaking: Mr. Gillotti spoke on his ideas for fundraising. AGENDA: 1. A. Chairman’s Report: N/A B. Executive Director’s Report: B. Petro submitted a detailed Directors Report covering items the staff are currently working on. 2. Minutes: A motion was made by N. Wakeham to approve the minutes as amended of the April 18, 2023 meeting. W. Platz seconded. The motion passed unanimously. 3. Financial Items: A. Financial Reports – April 2023: A motion was made by J. LaValla to approve the financial reports. N. Wake ham seconded. The motion passed unanimously. 4. Old Business: A. Fundraising: The administrative staff continues to work on fundraising and grants. Discussion followed. Staff is working with Lucy Prybylski to plan a fall trail ride to benefit Tarrywile Park. B. LoCIP Projects: This item was reported on under the Executive Directors Report. 5. New Business: A. Cannondale Work Day: J. Lavalla spoke on the upcoming Cannondale work day. Discussion followed. She also reported on her meeting with the Friends of Tarrywile. 6. Other Business: N/A Adjournment: A motion was made by W. Platz to adjourn the meeting at 7:01 p.m. Seconded by N. Wakeham.
