TARRYWILE PARK AUTHORITY SPECIAL MEETING April 10, 2024 CALL TO ORDER: On April 10, 2024 at 5:00 p.m., a special meeting of the Tarrywile Park Authority, was called to order by Chairman Michael Marcus. The meeting was held remotely via Zoom (Meeting ID#: 831 6815 6889 Passcode 477499) ATTENDANCE: M. Marcus, N. Wakeham, D. Perkins, E. Prybylski, J. Harner, J. LaValla , A. Ghio & D. Manacek Board Members Absent: E. Daly Park Staff: B. Petro Guests: Joe Badaracco & Ken Gucker Agenda Items: 1. Update on Urban Forest Equity Grant Application: D. Perkins reported that he is working on the grant currently. 2. Board's approval of Parking Improvements Proposal: D. Perkins reviewed the items that were previously emailed to the Board. Discussion followed. Several Board members expressed concerns about the Mansion driveway not being re-paved. Chairman Marcus voiced his concerns over the bid process, who takes responsibility for paying invoices and how the ARPA funds are distributed. Chairman Marcus would like to gather more information before proceeding. Further discussion followed. A motion was made by D. Perkins to table the discussion. Seconded by N. Wakeham. Motion passed unanimously. 3. Board's approval of Pavilion Proposal: D. Perkins reviewed the items that were previously emailed to the Board. Discussion followed. As with the parking improvement proposal, Chairman Marcus voiced his concerns over the bid process, who takes responsibility for paying invoices and how the ARPA funds are distributed. Chairman Marcus would like to gather more information before proceeding. Further discussion followed. A motion was made by N. Wakeham to table the discussion. Seconded by J. Harner.
