VILLAGE OF DANSVILLE BOARD OF TRUSTEES PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES APRIL 15, 2026 PUBLIC HEARING: A public hearing was convened for the purpose of receiving public comment on the Village’s 2026-2027 budget. General Fund: mayor salary, engineering, police officers: pay, contractual items, vehicles, uniform rollover, fire department: truck house rental, code enforcement: pay, highway department: MEO position, equipment, vehicle, vac truck maintenance, unclassified expenses, Ossian street project, CHIPS, snow removal, street lighting, sidewalks, parks, Home and Community Services: Comprehensive secretary, Street Sweeping, Tree removal, employee benefits, tax revenue, county sales tax, sidewalk revenue, fire protection, interest and earnings, fines and forfeited bail, sale of equipment, state aid. Water Fund: engineering, insurance, overtime, stipend, uniform allowance, repairs, truck purchase, mini excavator, genset for wells, misc. hand tools, hydrants, valve replacement, Ossian Street, employee benefits, revenue, interest, sale of equipment, due to/from. Sewer Fund: engineering, contingency, compost loader, pump station repairs, repairs, uniform allowance, overtime, vac truck maintenance, employee benefits, revenue, due to/from. MOTION TO RECESS PUBLIC HEARING: Trustee Tracy moved to recess the Public Hearing, while the organizational meeting and regular board meeting convened, with a second from Trustee Specchio. Vote: all ayes, motion carried 5-0. MOTION TO CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING: Trustee Tracy moved to close the Public Hearing, with a second from Trustee Button at 8:09 pm.
