PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES JANUARY 29, 2025 The meeting was called to order by Joe Boll at 6:30 p.m. Present at roll call: Joe Boll, Scott Heinberg, Doug Lindstrom, Rayna O’Brien, Jill Ringen, Ken Staver, and Carly Winslow. Excused Absence: None Also present: Wade Berget, Amy Prine, and Kim Winslow Motion by , seconded by , the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. Motion carried. Motion by , seconded by , to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as presented. Motion carried. Reports, comments, suggestions, and recommendations from citizens present: - Joe Boll updated the committee on the recodification project of the City Ordinances - Joe Boll updated the committee City Ball Field renovation project Under unfinished or deferred business from the previous committee meeting: Nothing to report Under new business or matters to be taken up by the committee: Discussion was held on bids received for the City Ball Field infield renovation. Three bids were received for replacing the infield: Green Thumb Landscape = $56,395 Midwest Athletic Fields LLC = $48,500 Hutchinson Property Services = $46,000 After a discussion, a motion was made by , seconded by , to accept the bid from Discussion was held regarding the 2025 Programs and Fees. A copy of the proposed 2025 Programs and Fees were included in the agenda packet. After a discussion, a motion was made by , seconded by , to approve the proposed Discussion was held regarding the 2025 Summer Employment Wages.
