POLICE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES MARCH 18, 2025 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike McDermott at 6:30 PM. Present at roll call were: Steve Pickett, Kerry Black, Joe Boll, Cindy Corley, Dave Roelli, John Sonsalla, and Mayor Mike McDermott. Absent: None. Also present were: Szvon Conway, Nick Mantsch, and Amy Johnson. Motion by Roelli, seconded by Boll that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. Motion carried. Under new business, Police Chief Szvon Conway presented the 2024 Police Department Annual Report. Copies of the 2024 total incident report by nature of the incident were distributed to those present at this meeting. The presentation provided information on the following: Incidents Reported, Parking Enforcement, and Traffic Citations and Warnings. Conway and Mantsch updated the Committee on equipment upgrades that were made in 2024 and so far in 2025 and training that officers have completed. Motion by Roelli, seconded by Pickett to go into closed session in accordance with Section 19.85 (1)(c) considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Motion by Pickett, seconded by Roelli to reconvene to regular session in accordance with Section 19.85 (2) Wis. Stats. to adjourn the meeting. There being no further business for this meeting, motion by Pickett, seconded by Corley, to adjourn the meeting at 7:00 PM. Motion carried. CITY OF DARLINGTON Amy L. Johnson, Clerk-Treasurer

Call to order by presiding officer 2. Roll call. 3. Motion the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. 4. Comments and suggestions from citizens or other interested parties present. 5. Unfinished business of the committee from the previous meeting. 6. New business or matters to be taken up by the committee. (a) Presentation of the 2024 Police Department Annual Report. The Police Committee will go into closed session in accordance with Section 19.85 (1)(c) considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. The Police Committee will reconvene to regular session in accordance with Section 19.85 (2) Wis. Stats. to adjourn the meeting. 8. Adjourn the meeting.
