Max Lohman, City Attorney Katerri Johnson, City Clerk SP.1. Public Comments SP.2. 18-414 INTERNAL AUDITOR FINALISTS' APPLICATIONS AND RESUMES Recommendation: Conduct group interviews and allow applicants to make any final statements so that the City Commission can vote to select one of the proposed candidates during the regularly scheduled Commission Meeting. She said that the first candidate would be Dr. Julia Davidyon. Dr. Davidyon noted that she held bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees in accounting, and was a certified public accountant and a certified government auditing professional. Ms. Davidyon said she is a quick learner. Ms. Davidyon responded to questions from the Mayor and City Commissioners, regarding her professional philosophy and methods for handling auditing processes. Ms. Liebowitz introduced this evening's second candidate, John Cashman. Mr. Cashman said that he had established four auditing departments, including three at the local government level. Mr. Cashman responded to questions from the Mayor and City Commissioners. Mayor Petrolia said it was possible that the City Commission would be making a decision about the internal auditor position later today.
