CLOSED ATTORNEY/CLIENT SESSION pursuant to F.S. 286.011(8) re: Alison Genco v. City of Delray Beach, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, Case No. 50-2023-CA-007528. Attendees: Mayor Thomas F. Patrice Harris, Deputy City Clerk, called the roll, and the following were present: Present: 5 - Mayor Thomas F. Carney, Jr., Vice Mayor Rob Long, Deputy Vice Mayor Angela Burns, Commissioner Tom Markert, Commissioner Juli Casale. Mayor Carney noted that Vice Mayor Long would be present via MS Teams. Others present were: Jeff Oris, Assistant City Manager Lynn Gelin, City Attorney Patrice Harris, Deputy City Clerk Mayor Carney announced the subject matter of the session and those that would be in attendance. Attendees left the dais at 12:03 p.m. and went to the 1st Floor Conference Room to discuss potential settlement negotiations. The meeting reconvened at 12:30 p.m. when they returned to City of Delray Beach Page 2 Printed on 5/8/2025 City Commission Minutes - Final April 11, 2025 the dais. A motion was made by Commissioner Juli Casale, seconded by Deputy Vice Mayor Burns, to approve the settlement negotiations as discussed. All were in favor Mayor Carney stated for the record that Vice Mayor Long provided his approval via MS Teams.
