CLOSED ATTORNEY/CLIENT SESSION pursuant to F.S. 286.011(8) re: Foster Marine Contractors, Inc. v. City of Delray Beach, Florida, Case No. 2017-CA-008953MB-AO. Attendees: Mayor Thomas F. Carney, Jr. Deputy Vice-Mayor Angela Burns Commissioner Tom Markert Commissioner Juli Casale City Manager Terrence Moore City Attorney Lynn Gelin Outside Counsel Sanaz Alempour Outside Counsel Christopher Stearns A certified court reporter Purpose: Case Status Discussion and Strategy Meeting. Sponsors: City Attorney Department Attachments: AGENDA ITEM - SPECIAL MEETING OF JANUARY 20, 2026 The January 20, 2026 Special Commission Meeting (Closed Attorney/Client Session) was called to order at 3:04 p.m. Alexis Givings, City Clerk, called the roll, and the following were present: Present: 4 - Mayor Thomas F. Carney, Jr., Deputy Vice Mayor Angela Burns, Commissioner Tom Markert, and Commissioner Juli Casale. Others present were: Terrence Moore, City Manager Lynn Gelin, City Attorney Certified Court Reporter Mayor Carney announced the subject matter of the session. All who were present left the dais. The meeting recessed at 3:06 p.m. The meeting reconvened at 3:20 p.m. With no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 3:20 p.m. City of Delray Beach Page 2 Printed on 2/4/2026 City Commission Minutes - Final January 20, 2026 The City shall furnish appropriate auxiliary aids and services where necessary to afford an individual with a disability an equal opportunity to participate in and enjoy the benefits of a service, program, or activity conducted by the City.
