Deltona Economic Development Advisory Board (DEDAB) Workforce Assignment: “Flex-Themed Accelerator”, via video and oral presentation. Background: It is generally accepted axiom that 80% of new job growth nationwide comes via small businesses development and expansion. DEDAB was assigned the Workforce Development assignment, as an agent of suggested positive movement in job creation. For more than a year DEDAB did research, invited speaker, gained insights, and conducted surveys within the City’s small business community. The result of this is given to the Commission, City Staff, and visitors, via an oral presentation by DEDAB Chairperson (2017, 2018) Tanya Boggs. Currently residents are limited to two (2) garage sales per calendar year.
