Discussion for placement of historical memorabilia of the City of Deltona. Jane K. Shang, City Manager, (386) 878-8850. Strategic Goal: Internal/External Communications Background: The City has obtained historical memorabilia of the City of Deltona which is currently being stored in a conference room at City Hall. The collection consists of approximately 65 boxes of which 20 boxes have been indexed. See attached sample listing of memorabilia. Staff is seeking direction from the Commission regarding where/how to display the memorabilia. Attachments: Sample Index B. Discussion re: The City’s Boards/Committees. Background: At the Regular Commission Meeting held on Monday, November 19, 2018, Mayor Herzberg requested to add to the next Workshop a discussion regarding the City’s Boards/Committees to include what boards are full, where the City struggles to fill appointments and what boards are not being utilized and the Commission concurred.
