Updates on Concession Use Agreements Background: Parks will provide an update to the Concession Facility Use Agreements. The department will discuss the current agreement, along with current usage of the concession facilities. Discussion re: Automation of Public Records Requests - Joyce Raftery, City Clerk’s Department (386) 878-8502. Strategic Goal: Internal/External Communication Background: Staff will provide a brief PowerPoint Presentation on a public records request (PRR) system that will automate the entire process from start to finish. Some of the benefits to the residents include the ability to submit requests from anywhere, to track the requests, to pay for requests and to search other requests that have been made not only by them, but by other individuals. Some benefits to staff would be less time spent on public records requests, quicker turnaround time, an all-inclusive City of Deltona Page 1 Printed on 6/19/2019 City Commission Workshop Agenda June 24, 2019 process and more transparency. In addition the City now has a public records request hotline where a resident can call to leave a public records request and the individual will be able to track their request via the proposed public records request system, that number is (386) 878-8512. To keep up with technology and the demand for public records staff is requesting that the Commission concur to move forward with the expenditure for the public records request system to be implemented this fiscal year.
