1. CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 am.
2. ROLL CALL:
Also present: Dinelia Santana, Planning and Development Services; Kathrine Kyp,
Planning and Development Services; Anita Bradford, House Next Door; Steve Sally, United
Way and Jennifer Nadelkov, House Next Door.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES & AGENDA:
A. Minutes of February 21, 2019.
Motion by Steve Roland, seconded by Leigh Grosvenor, to accept the
Minutes of February 21, 2019. The motion carried by the following vote:
For: 6 - Member Chavez, Member Grosvenor, Member McGrath,
Member Paradise, Member Roland and Chair Wallace
4. PRESENTATIONS/AWARDS/REPORTS:
5. PUBLIC FORUM: Time permitted, public comment shall be permitted at the end of
agenda items only and shall not exceed two minutes.

Mr. Sally described to the Committee the proposed project from the House Next Door. He
explained the intent is to demolish the three (3) existing model homes and construct a 4,000
square foot commercial office space. The office building would be used as an incubator for
various social service entities to provide services to Deltona and surrounding cities.
Discussion occurred regarding sewer connection and a utility proportionate fair share
agreement, access management, parking spaces, landscape buffers and potential future
construction of a child development center.
