Special Meeting
A. The Development Review Committee meeting is held in the virtual
environment via Webex and can be accessed by the following methods:
1. CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 am.
2. ROLL CALL:

Services; William Lopez-Colon, Public Works; Kat Kyp, Building Services; Tina Lee and
Chris Schmidt, Ashton Woods.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES & AGENDA:
A. Minutes of September 1, 2022
Motion by Ron Paradise, seconded by Joseph L. Ruiz, to approve the
Minutes of September 1, 2022, as presented. The motion carried
unanimously.
4. PRESENTATIONS/AWARDS/REPORTS:
None.
5. PUBLIC FORUM: Time permitted, public comments shall be limited to items on the
agenda and shall not exceed two minutes. Please be courteous and respectful of the
views of others. Personal attacks on Committee/Board members, City staff or
members of the public are not allowed and will be ruled out of order by the Chair.

Chair Wallace opened and closed public forum as there were none.
6. OLD BUSINESS:
None.
7. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Island Walk South - Final Plat DRC Approval
Mr. Ruiz explained Island Walk South, SD22-0009, is a 57 unit subdivision on 15.97 acres
located off Lake Helen Osteen Road. He stated the developer has already provided the
performance bond to the City, consistent with Land Development Code Section 96-76.
Mr. Ruiz stated staff has found the plat sufficient and recommends the Development Review
Committee approve and recommend the City Commission accept the Island Walk South
Final Plat Application number SD22-0009, subject to the following condition:
1. The final plat development order shall be recorded into the public records concurrently
with the final plat mylar. This recording shall be executed within 20 working days of the
effective date of Resolution No. 2022-28.
Motion by Ron Paradise, seconded by Tobborah Cottingham, for the
Development Review Committee recommend the City Commission
accept the Island Walk South Final Plat with the conditions. The motion
carried unanimously.

None.
10. ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting adjourned at 9:04 am.
