CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 4:29 p.m. by Mayor Avila. 2. ROLL CALL – CITY CLERK: Present: 7 - Commissioner Avila-Vazquez Commissioner Burbank Commissioner Colwell Commissioner JodyLee Commissioner McCool Vice Mayor Bradford Mayor Avila 3. PLEDGE TO THE FLAG: 4. BUSINESS: A. Private meeting with legal counsel to discuss pending litigation Case No. 2023 16876 CODL pursuant to section 286.011(8), Fla Stat. i. Mayor announces the commencement of the Executive Session with an estimated length of up to an hour. Mayor Avila stated the estimated length of time for the Executive Session is one hour. ii. Mayor announces the names of each Commissioner in attendance, the Interim City Manager Glenn Whitcomb, City Attorney Marsha Segal-George, and Attorney Dale Scott with Roper, P.A. Mayor Avila announced that each Commissioner was in attendance along with the Interim City Manager, City Attorney, and Attorney Dale Scott with Roper, P.A. iii. Mayor closes the session to the public. Discussion of pending litigation. v. Mayor announces the termination of the Executive Session. vi. Mayor reopens meeting and adjourns. Mayor Avila reopened the meeting to the public at 5:30 p.m. 5.
