Hickory Street, Denton, Texas at which the following items will be considered: 1. WORK SESSION A. EDP16-019 Receive a report and hold a discussion regarding the Leadership Denton Class of 2016’s project and recommendations. B. EDP16-016 Receive a report, hold a discussion, and give staff direction regarding an amendment to Peterbilt Motors Company’s existing Tax Abatement Agreement. Attachments: 2016 Request Letter Following the completion of the Work Session, the Economic Development Partnership Board will convene in a Closed Meeting to consider specific items when these items are listed below under the Closed Meeting section of this agenda. The Economic Development Partnership Board reserves the right to adjourn into a Closed Meeting on any item on its open meeting agenda consistent with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, as amended, or as otherwise allowed by law. 1. CLOSED MEETING A. EDP16-017 Deliberations regarding Economic Development Negotiations - Under Texas Government Code Section 551.087. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and give staff direction regarding an economic development incentive for Peterbilt Motors Company. This discussion shall include commercial and financial information the City has received from Peterbilt Motors Company, which the City seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the city, and with which the Economic Development Partnership Board is conducting economic development negotiations; including the offer of financial or other incentive. Following the completion of the Closed Meeting, the Economic Development Partnership Board will convene in a Regular Meeting at which the following items will be considered: 1. REGULAR MEETING A. EDP16-018 Consider a recommendation to the Denton City Council regarding an amendment to Peterbilt Motors Company’s existing Tax Abatement Agreement. Attachments: 2016 Request Letter B.
