After determining that a quorum is present, the Health and Building Standards Commission of the City of Denton, Texas will convene in a Regular Meeting on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in Training Rooms 1 and 2 at the Development Service Center, 401 N. Elm Street, Denton, Texas at which the following items will be considered: 1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE A. U.S. Flag B. HBS21-023 Consider the approval of the June 24, 2021 minutes. Attachments: June 24, 2021 B. HBS21-022 Receive a report, hold a discussion and give staff direction relating the process for updates to the construction codes and standards as adopted by the City. (International Codes: Mechanical, Plumbing, Fuel Gas, Building, Fire, Existing Building, Residential, Swimming Pool and Spa, Energy Code and the National Electrical Code). The primary focus will be on the International Residential, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fuel Gas, and Swimming Pool codes and any associated references to the other codes as applicable. 3.
